This Gift Card Policy explains how gift cards work at Stackers Australia (operated by The Verge Collective Pty Ltd, ABN 56 691 572 817), including gift cards you purchase and gift cards issued to you as store credit under our Returns & Refund Policy. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. What This Policy Covers

This policy applies to all Stackers Australia gift cards, however they were issued, including:

Purchased gift cards — bought by you or someone else as a gift, for use on stackersaustralia.com.au; and

Return-issued gift cards — occasionally issued by our Customer Service team under our Returns & Refund Policy.

Both types are treated the same way under this policy unless stated otherwise below.

2. Purchasing a Gift Card

Gift cards can be purchased directly on our Site in the denominations we make available from time to time. Gift cards are delivered electronically to the email address provided at checkout and take the form of a unique code to be applied at checkout.

3. Redeeming a Gift Card

Enter your gift card code in the "Discount code or gift card" field at checkout. Gift cards can be used towards the purchase of any product on our Site and can be combined with other gift cards. Only one promotional discount code can be used per order in addition to a gift card. If your order total exceeds your gift card balance, you'll need to pay the difference using another payment method.

4. Gift Card Balance

Gift cards can be used across multiple orders until the balance reaches zero or the card expires, whichever comes first. You can check your gift card balance by entering your code at checkout or by contacting us at info@stackersaustralia.com.au.

5. Expiry

In accordance with the Australian Consumer Law, all Stackers Australia gift cards are valid for a minimum of 3 years from the date of issue. The expiry date is included in the email confirming your gift card. We recommend using your full balance before this date, as we're not able to reissue an expired gift card.

6. Fees

There are no fees to purchase, activate, hold or redeem a Stackers Australia gift card. We do not charge account-keeping, dormancy or balance-enquiry fees on any gift card.

7. Lost, Stolen or Undelivered Gift Cards

Gift cards are valuable — please treat your gift card code like cash. Stackers Australia is not responsible for gift cards that are lost, stolen, or used without your permission once the code has been delivered to the email address provided. If you believe a gift card email has been lost or misdirected before delivery, contact us at info@stackersaustralia.com.au and we'll investigate.

8. Returns, Refunds and Return-Issued Gift Cards

Where a gift card is issued by our Customer Service team, it is subject to this policy in the same way as a purchased gift card, including the 3-year minimum expiry.  

Gift cards themselves are treated as a Non-Returnable Item under our Returns & Refund Policy and cannot be returned once purchased or issued.

9. Cannot Be Exchanged for Cash

Gift cards cannot be redeemed, exchanged or refunded for cash, in whole or in part, except where required by law.

10. Cancellation, Fraud and Misuse

We may cancel or decline to honour a gift card where we reasonably suspect it was fraudulently obtained, purchased with a payment method that is later reversed or charged back, or is being used in a manner that breaches our Terms of Service.

11. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including the minimum 3-year expiry period referred to in Section 5.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy at any time by posting amendments on this page. Changes will not reduce the value or shorten the expiry of a gift card already issued to you.
